The short version
This site sets one cookie, and only if you say yes. It is ours, it counts visits, and nothing follows you from here to anywhere else.
Until 16 September 2026 there were none at all. We now measure which pages are read and which forms are sent, because we cannot improve a site we cannot see. This page said we would ask first if that ever changed, so we ask: the bar at the foot of the page is that question, and nothing is stored or sent until you answer it.
There is no advertising cookie here, and no third party is given a way to recognise you across other sites.
The cookie, if you say yes
We use PostHog to count visits. Press Yes, measure and one cookie is set in your browser by this site:
| Name | What it holds | How long |
|---|---|---|
ph_<project id>_posthog | A random identifier for this browser, so a second visit is not counted as a second person. It carries no name, no email and nothing you typed. | One year |
The same identifier is kept in local storage, and a few keys in session storage hold the current session, which go when you close the tab. With that cookie set, your browser sends PostHog which pages you open, what you click, your device and browser, the page you came from, and your IP address, from which PostHog derives an approximate town.
What we have deliberately left off:
- No session recording. PostHog can replay a visitor's screen. We have that switched off in code.
- No identifying you. There is no account here, and we never tell PostHog who you are, even if you have written to us.
- Do Not Track is honoured. If your browser sends that header, nothing is measured, whatever you answered.
Say No thanks and none of it happens: no cookie, nothing stored except a note of your answer, and not one request to PostHog. Ignoring the bar counts as no.
The other things stored in your browser
Your answer to the question above is saved as synq-analytics-consent in local storage, so we do not ask again on every page. It is not a cookie and it is never sent anywhere.
If you talk to the assistant on the home page, the email you type is saved as synq-voice-email in session storage, so you do not have to type it again to start a second talk in the same tab.
- It is session storage, not a cookie: it is never attached to a request.
- It goes when you close the tab.
- It is read by the assistant's email box and by nothing else.
- If your browser blocks storage, the box simply asks again.
What loads from somewhere else, and when
Nothing third party loads with a page. Three things load later, each for a reason, and each only in a particular moment.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, when you start filling a form or open the assistant's email box. It checks that you are a person rather than a script. It may store something of its own on your device, which we do not control and which is covered by Cloudflare's terms.
- Google Gemini Live, while a call is running. Your voice goes to Google for as long as the call lasts, and the connection closes when the call ends.
- Cloudinary, for pictures and video, so your browser fetches those files from Cloudinary rather than from us.
- PostHog, and only after you say yes. Its code is fetched from
us-assets.i.posthog.comand what it measures is sent tous.i.posthog.com, which means the United States.
Fonts are served from this domain. No social buttons, no embedded video player, no tag manager, no chat widget, no session recorder.
Why there is a banner now
This page used to say there was nothing to consent to, and that if that ever changed we would ask first, properly. It changed on 16 September 2026, so we ask.
The bar at the foot of the page is not a formality. Nothing loads, nothing is stored and no request is made to anyone until it is answered, and both answers are one press, the same size, in the same place. A banner that makes yes easy and no hard is not a question.
Clearing what is there
Closing the tab clears the stored email and the session keys. To remove everything this site has put in your browser, including the cookie and your answer, clear site data for synqflow.ai in your browser settings. Nothing on the site breaks afterwards, and the question will be asked again on your next visit.
Changing your mind is the same action: clear site data and answer differently, or write to swastik@synqflow.ai and we will remove what PostHog holds for that identifier.
More on what we collect
This page is only about your browser. What we collect when you fill in a form or talk to the assistant, who else sees it and how long we keep it, is in the privacy policy. Questions go to swastik@synqflow.ai.
